Cloister

Here's a poem that was recently posted on Lush Stories where there is also an audio file for anyone who'd like to hear a reading.

As always...thank you all so much for your time and generosity.

The scent of her hair
Sails through my veins
I come alive
In the soft cloister of her voice
Fugitive whispers escape her mouth
Shy vows making love with her breath
I try to listen but my grip breaks down
Music and angels give up and go home
I have something so urgent to tell her
I can only say it to her skin
My lips dance across her body
In search of that unthinkable moment
Lips touch and hover in the seconds
Our mouths open and her tongue
Rides into my mouth on a sigh
Light as air and soft as fire
